Food & Service

Namibian and international dishes served with waterhole views, often with wildlife visible from the dining area itself.

Wildlife & Photography

Ongava holds a genuine breeding population of both black and white rhino on private land, alongside lion, leopard and a wide range of plains game.

A Photographer's Note

The lodge’s floodlit waterhole allows night photography of visiting wildlife directly from camp, without needing a vehicle after dark.

Conservation & Impact

Ongava’s private reserve status has made it a significant contributor to Namibia’s black rhino conservation, with rhino tracking directly funding the reserve’s anti-poaching operations.
