Rekero Camp

Talek River, Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya

One of the oldest camps in the Mara, run by Asilia Africa on the Talek River’s main migration crossing point.

Overview

Rekero Camp was created by the Beaton family and renowned guide Jackson Looseyia, and remains one of the most historic camps in the Masai Mara. It overlooks the Talek River crossing point, giving guests a ringside seat to river crossings, hippo pods and near-constant game movement.
