The newest addition to Quark Expeditions’ fleet, World Voyager carries just 168 guests across 84 all-balcony cabins and suites, most with private walk-out or Juliet balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows. Built for the shorter fly-cruise route to Antarctica, she is based out of Punta Arenas, Chile, meeting guests at King George Island after a two-hour charter flight over the Drake Passage.
Five cabin categories across Decks 4 to 7, from 270 sq ft cabins with a glass Juliet balcony up to 365 sq ft suites with a 100 sq ft private walk-out balcony, sitting area, refrigerator and a bathroom with both shower and tub.
A single main restaurant serving all meals, alongside a glass-domed Observation Lounge and dedicated Science Hub for lectures and informal gatherings between excursions.
Twice-daily Zodiac landings and cruises along the Antarctic Peninsula, guided by the onboard expedition and Science & Discovery team; wellness facilities including a spa, sauna, heated outdoor pool and wraparound running track for use between excursions.
Gentoo, chinstrap and Adélie penguin colonies, crabeater and Weddell seals, and regular humpback whale sightings along the Peninsula’s channels, all reachable directly from the ship’s fleet of Zodiacs.
The all-balcony cabin layout means usable shooting positions are available directly from most rooms, in addition to the ship’s glass-domed lounge for shooting in poor weather.
Operated under IAATO guidelines governing visitor numbers, landing sites and wildlife distances in Antarctica, with an onboard Science Hub supporting guest participation in ongoing polar research.
