Rooms & Table

The Rooms

Round, thatched rooms built in traditional style, each with its own veranda overlooking the plains, comfortably furnished throughout.

Food & Service

Tanzanian and international dishes served with panoramic plains views, plus a pool built to make the most of the hillside setting.

Activities

Game drives across the central Serengeti’s plains, with easy access to the migration route during its seasonal passage through the area.

Wildlife & Photography

The Central Serengeti’s Seronera Valley, visible from the lodge, is one of the most reliable year-round locations in Tanzania for lion and leopard sightings.

A Photographer's Note

The lodge’s hillside position gives a naturally elevated view over the Seronera Valley’s riverine woodland, useful for scanning for leopard in the trees below.

Conservation & Impact

The lodge supports Serena’s broader sustainability programme across its East African portfolio and employs extensively from surrounding communities.
